Christ Church ECW (Episcopal Church Women) is a monthly fellowship gathering of women of the parish. ECW also welcomes the women of nearby Episcopal congregations by inviting the women of St. Francis’, Fortuna; St. Alban’s, Arcata; and Sts. Martha and Mary, Trinidad. The meetings begin with a devotional and announcements, followed by a potluck luncheon and program. Recent programs have featured the Food Bank, Hospice of Humboldt, Healing the Children in Honduras, St. Vincent de Paul, travel slides, Christmas music, Camp Living Waters, and the folk art of Romano Gabriel. All women of the church are encouraged to attend and enjoy getting better acquainted with each other. The ECW meets at 11:30am on the second Wednesday of the month in Lewis Hall.
