Christ Episcopal Church will present “Come and See: a Service of the Light,” Sunday, October 4th at 4 p.m. This service is an invitation to families, parishioners and new comers who cannot fit early Sunday services into their busy schedules. This service is dedicated to the memory of Peter Hannaford who worked tirelessly to reestablish family worship into our community.
This unique worship service held at sunset is approximately one hour long and will be followed by a social time with cider, cookies and the opportunity to discuss the meaning of the sermon with the presiding priest, Mother Leslie McCloghrie.
This is the first service in a series being held on the first Sunday of each month in The Chapel of our Merciful Savior located on 15th and G Streets in Eureka. These services of prayers and hymns offer an opportunity to all to reestablish church attendance into their lives.
